I can't stress enough how important it is to make reservations very soon if you plan on going. The wedding is during the absolutely most busiest time to go to Negril. If you don't make a reservation soon, you will not be able to get a place to stay, and you're not staying on the floor in our room! So put that out of your mind.

It is expensive and the most popular time to go. This is because Jamaicans know how to do New Years.

Generally they have the biggest Reggae concert of the year on New Year's Eve. The last concert I went to down there was about $5 to get in, beer was $1 for a bottle of Red Stripe, and they had 5 bands playing in the huge outdoor concert place. And that wasn't even New Years.

If you're planning to go you have to make reservations now!

I can't stress that enough. If you can't swing it, that's cool, we understand, we're poor too. Just let us know then. We won't be angry. We will be angry if you wait till the last minute and then can't go despite the fact we told you to get your act together.
